Nicole earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2008 and has dedicated her entire legal career to criminal defense. Her academic background in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Michigan gives her a unique edge in analyzing technical evidence, such as toxicology reports, breathalyzer data, and body cam footage, especially critical in DUI and other scientifically based cases.

What is your goal for Battlefield Law Group this year? My top priority for Battlefield Law Group this year is to deliver exceptional legal representation and exceed client expectations. We also aim to expand further into Virginia, allowing us to serve even more clients with the high-quality advocacy they deserve.
What continues to drive you to be a defense attorney? My desire to passionately defend individuals stems from a belief in a better future for everyone regardless of where they are right now. I believe every client has the potential and I'm committed to help make that possible.
Who inspires you in life? It may sound cliché, but my son is my greatest inspiration. He motivates me to work toward a better future for him, but he also reminds me to embrace the present. He focuses on making the most of every moment, without concern for any praise he might receive later.
What is something you are passionate about outside of the courtroom? I love spending time with my family and hiking with my dog, Boo, but lately, I've also found great fulfillment in volunteering in our community. In 2023, with a clear vision and renewed purpose, Ms. Naum rebranded the practice as Battlefield Law Group, PLLC, focusing exclusively on Criminal Defense and DUI cases.
