  • Battlefield Law Group is located at 9214 Center St., 2nd Floor, Manassas, VA 20110 and is situated in the heart of Old Town Manassas, within walking distance of the Prince William Courthouse. You’ll find us in the 3-story building behind the 7-Eleven Convenience Store with “Battlefield Law Group” displayed on the upper left side of the building.

    • The journey of Battlefield Law Group reflects growth, determination, and an  unwavering commitment to clients. Nicole H. Naum, Esq., passed the Virginia Bar in  2009 and launched Naum Law Firm in 2015. This initial success evolved into a thriving partnership as Naum Estevez, PLLC, excelling in Criminal Defense, Traffic,  DUI, Civil, and Family Law. In 2023, Ms. Naum rebranded the firm as Battlefield Law  Group, PLLC, refocusing exclusively on Criminal DefenseDUI/DWI, and Traffic cases.

    • The name “Battlefield” symbolizes the historic battlefields of Old Town Manassas and the firm’s dedication to fighting for its clients. Battlefield Law Group prioritizes teamwork and client advocacy, always putting the needs of clients first.

  • Collectively, the team has over 50 years of experience in Criminal, Traffic, and  DUI/DWI Defense, with extensive jury trial experience and thousands of  misdemeanor and felony cases handled.

  • Battlefield Law Group primarily serves Northern Virginia, including Prince William,  Fairfax, Stafford, Loudoun, and Fauquier Counties and Culpeper County.

  • Yes, we have three bilingual paralegals/legal assistants on staff during office hours (8:30 AM – 5 PM). We also offer an after-hours answering service with live  representatives.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • We accommodate both in-person and virtual meetings based on your convenience and preference.

  • While we try to accommodate walk-ins, it’s highly recommended to call for an appointment to ensure the appropriate attorney and staff are available, as our  attorneys often appear in court.

  • Yes, the office is fully wheelchair accessible with handicap parking and an elevator.

  • Our attorneys are here for you and provide direct contact information. You can call, text, or email, and we’ll respond as promptly as possible.

APPOINTMENTS & ACCESSIBILITY

  • The firm handles all Criminal Defense, Traffic Infractions and DUI/DWI Defense Cases. We also handle Expungements, Forfeiture cases, and Protective Orders.

  • Most Criminal Defense, DUI/DWI, and Traffic cases are billed at a flat rate to provide transparency. Hourly billing may apply for pre-arrest agreements or other specific instances. Our payment processor is through LawPay and we also accept cash, personal check, or cashier’s check.

  • Depending on the case’s complexity, multiple attorneys may collaborate, though there is usually a primary attorney. Transparency and teamwork are key values of Battlefield Law Group, PLLC.

LEGAL SERVICES

LEGAL PROCESS & COMMUNICATION

    1. Schedule a consultation (video or in-person). 

    2. Sign a representation agreement and pay representation fee, if agreeable.

    3. The firm notifies the court of representation. 

    4. The firm will obtain and review case information from the opposing side. 

    5. Open communication is key to success in your case. Clients are encouraged to keep a good line of communication with Battlefield Law Group and their attorney.

  • You will receive updates from our bilingual legal assistants or your attorney via phone, text, and/or email as new information becomes available.

    • Traffic infractions may not require your presence if an attorney represents you.

      • Many courts will require a waiver of appearance and your attorney can assist you with this. 

      • For Criminal and DUI/DWI Cases, your presence is generally required and always highly recommended. Your attorney will guide you based on your case specifics.

  • Case durations vary and you will have a better idea from your individual consultation  with your attorney. Some expected ranges of time depending on case: 

    • Traffic infractions: 1-3 months 

    • Misdemeanors: 1-12 months 

    • Felonies: Greatly dependent on case complexity 

    • Expungements: 1-3 months for the hearing to have the expungement ordered by the court and another 6-12 months for the charge to be expunged from the record.

  • Your attorney will meet you at court, keep you informed during negotiations, and present any plea offers. They will guide you through every step. If negotiations or offers are not to your liking, your attorney will prepare you for a trial. 

  • Typically, client interaction with the judge is minimal. If required, your attorney will  prepare you thoroughly.
