A Sunrise Round at Colonial Hills Golf Course in Forest, Virginia
Starting the Day with Fresh Air and a Clear Mind
There are certainly worse ways to start a workday than watching the sun rise over a golf course.
Before heading into Battlefield Law Group’s Forest office this morning, our Legal Assistant, Mary Beth Grim, enjoyed an early round at Colonial Hills Golf Course. The course was still covered in morning dew, the sun was beginning to rise, and the Blue Ridge Mountains created a beautiful backdrop for the start of the day.
Established in 1962, Colonial Hills is an 18-hole regulation golf course located right here in Forest, Virginia. Mature trees, rolling terrain, mountain views, and strategically placed water features make the course both scenic and challenging. It offers an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of a true local course.
The Colonial Hills clubhouse is also a great place to stop for golf essentials or spend a few minutes talking with one of the course’s golf professionals. The course is continuing to grow, with a new driving range expected to open by the end of August.
As we settle into our new satellite office, we look forward not only to serving clients throughout the Lynchburg area, but also to connecting with and supporting the community we now call home.
Based on Mary Beth’s photographs from this morning, Colonial Hills is especially beautiful at sunrise. It may be one of the best places in Forest to squeeze in a round before the workday begins. Something our Lynchburg defense attorney and fellow golfer, Rob Yurkowski, can certainly appreciate.
