At Battlefield Law Group, our commitment to service doesn’t end in the courtroom. These are the neighborhoods where we live, where our families go to school, and where we’ve built relationships that go well beyond legal work.
The organizations we’re involved with aren’t just partnerships; they represent causes and communities we genuinely care about. Whether it’s mentoring teens, supporting animal rescue efforts, or sponsoring local youth sports, we stay involved because these efforts make a real difference in the places we call home.
Centreville Wildcats Girls’ Basketball
Clifton, VA – Fairfax County
We’re proud sponsors of the Centreville Wildcats, with a focus on supporting their Girls’ Basketball program. These teams provide a space for young athletes to grow in confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Our support helps ensure more girls in our community have the opportunity to participate, compete, and succeed, on and off the court. Senior Partner Steve Duckett also serves as the junior varsity girls’ basketball coach, deepening our connection to the program and the students it serves.
Beat the Odds – Youth Mentorship
Prince William County
Beat the Odds® is a local program sponsored by the Prince William County Bar Association that honors youth who have overcome serious adversity after coming into contact with the juvenile justice system. Many of these students have faced challenges such as abuse, neglect, mental health struggles, or delinquency—but have made meaningful academic and personal progress despite the odds.
Attorneys Nicole Naum and Lili O’Connell of Battlefield Law Group proudly serve as mentors to these inspiring young people, offering guidance, encouragement, and support as they continue to build brighter futures.
Homeward Trails Animal Rescue
Fairfax Station, VA – Fairfax County
We proudly support Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, an organization that does incredible work rescuing animals from rural areas and underserved communities across Virginia. Their efforts go far beyond simple rehoming. They handle emergency medical care, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, and the rehabilitation of animals who would otherwise be forgotten. We're deeply committed to their mission because we’ve seen firsthand how impactful their work is, both for the animals and the people who love them.
Habitat for Humanity – Prince William County

AAffordable housing changes lives, and Habitat for Humanity in Prince William County plays a vital role in helping local families build stability through homeownership. We’re proud to partner with this organization, not only because of the impact they make in our community, but also because the partnership allows our clients to complete court-ordered community service hours directly with Habitat at no cost. It’s a meaningful way to contribute to the community while supporting a cause that creates lasting change right here in Manassas and the surrounding areas.
